I bring a combination of real-world experience, professional leadership, and community involvement that has prepared me to service the residents of Compton effectively.

I have 30 years of experience in the funeral service profession, where I serviced families during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

That work required compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex systems while maintaining accountability and trust.

In addition to my professional background, I am a businesswoman with experience operating and managing businesses, understanding budgets, compliance, and how to deliver services efficiently.

I have also worked directly with residents in the community, helping them understand financial literacy, business development and investment opportunities.

My experience has taught me how to solve problems, work with people from all walks of life and follow through on commitments.

I understand how systems impact everyday people, and I am prepared to bring that same level of responsibility, transparency and accountability to City Hall.

While I respect formal education, I believe leadership is also built through experience, service and results; and that is what I bring to this role.
