Biographical Information

Have you ever served as a Precinct Committeeman?

Will you ask your local candidates to participate in voter information efforts and face-to-face debates and forums?

In seeking and vetting candidates for local office, how would you rank the following in importance: qualifications, local experience, skills, or adherance to a national party?

Why are you the best candidate to represent your Idaho neighborhood?

Campaign Statement Voters deserve a choice. They deserve a candidate with a record of service to others above self. It is not enough to call yourself a Republican anymore. My life history shows dedication to the values and principles in the Republican Party Platform. For all of those reasons, I am asking for your vote.

I have not. I am looking forward to it now that I am semi-retired.
Of course. That kind of public exposure supports our system of government.
Although I am a Republican and support the party platform, the office of Precinct Committeemen is a neighborhood position that calls for skills like listening and leading mixed in with qualifications and local experience before adherence to a national party.
I have nothing to personally gain and no interest other than serving and being a blessing to the people here. If you check me out, you will see that has been my motivation throughout my career. We bought our home here in 2012 and have experienced the opportunities and challenges that come with rapid growth. Let's see what we can do together to make it a great place to live, work, and play!

I have not.
In general, yes. Public access to our elected officials is a basic building block of a functional republic. Each event should be evaluated individually. Not every invite is a welcome invite.
As a Republican PC, getting loyal republicans elected is the primary goal. If we struggle to find qualified or experienced people who are also loyal republicans, that indicates a lack of effort and planning to tap the right people for the job. Half the issue is messaging, where enemies of the republican party will accuse incompetency regardless of who the committee selects to endorse. Messaging from a PC you can trust is more valuable than any other information. This is why I have listed my personal phone and email for any voter in my precinct to contact me.
Because I'll actually do the job. The current PC has attended less than half the meetings since his election two years ago. He also refuses to pass out the committee voter guide and other committee voted and approved campaign materials. It suggests that he's not interested in the local offices being occupied by Republicans, and that he's not invested in advancing conservative policies. I like people, I like North Idaho, and I love my neighborhood. I am excited at the opportunity to be the main point for Republican voter information and access.
Campaign Statement My goal, as Precinct 319 committeeman, is to become well informed with the issues affecting Republican voters in my precinct and represent their interests at the Republican Central Committee.

Yes, I was elected in May 2024.
I don't believe there are any debate opportunities for Precinct Committeeman races. If there were, I would participate.
With the first assumption that a candidate is a registered Republican, I believe that qualifications for the office being sought and local experience are the most important qualifiers.
I am a long time Hayden resident and have volunteered at the local and state level on numerous committees for over two decades. I believe my experience and community ties provides a solid foundation for understanding the positions of my neighbors and helps me to better represent their interests.
