Office Sought
Kootenai County Commissioner District 1
Comprehensive Plan:
My top priority is ensuring that our comprehensive plan truly reflects the vision of the people. The comprehensive plan is not just a guideline, it is our legal backbone. I will advocate for clear, data-driven benchmarks, so infrastructure is planned before development, not after.
Infrastructure First:
Evaluating current infrastructure to determine what we can realistically support today, and what must be improved before expanding further.
Fiscal Responsibility:
I will prioritize fiscal conservatism and accountability. Taxpayer money should be spent wisely, transparently, and efficiently. We must protect residents from unnecessary tax increases while ensuring essential services remain strong and sustainable.
I’m motivated by a desire to ensure Kootenai County remains a place where future generations want to raise their families and where small businesses can thrive. The decisions we make today will shape our community for years to come, and it’s critical we get them right.
That means being thoughtful about growth, protecting the character of our community, and preserving what makes this area such a special place to live. It also means staying fiscally conservative, ensuring we are not overtaxing residents and that every dollar is spent responsibly.
I’m running to help guide Kootenai County’s future in a way that balances opportunity with responsibility, so we leave it stronger for the next generation.
One of the most significant challenges facing Kootenai County is ensuring we do not overload our infrastructure. Without responsible planning, it puts serious strain on roads, schools, emergency services, and utilities.
Expanding infrastructure is costly, and at a time when residents are already facing rising costs and declining affordability, we must be careful. Poor planning today can result in higher taxes tomorrow.
That’s why we need a disciplined, forward-looking approach that ensures infrastructure keeps pace with growth and that development pays its fair share. We must also ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, efficiently, and with long-term sustainability in mind to protect both quality of life and financial stability.
I am running to preserve the character, safety, and quality of life that makes Kootenai County a great place to live and raise a family. The decisions made today will shape our future for generations.
As a small business owner, I’ve navigated regulations and understand the burden of inefficient systems. Government should support, not hinder local enterprise through clear, fair rules.
As an ER and OR nurse, I bring experience in listening, problem-solving, and making critical decisions under pressure.
I believe in fiscal responsibility, accountability, and limited government. I am committed to listening, leading with integrity, and being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars.
