Fresno County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector
The individual in this position serves as the chief accounting and disbursement officer of the County, providing accounting, audit, payroll, and property tax administration services to county government, cities, schools and special districts. As Treasurer/Tax Collector they are responsible for the collection of all taxes as well as the receiving, processing, investing and safeguarding of public funds. The Auditor-Controller/Tax Collector is elected to a 4-year term of office.
