Office Sought Bonner County Clerk
As ex-officio auditor and recorder, the Clerk plays a key role in ensuring county finances and records are accurate and transparent. Public scrutiny is high, especially regarding budgets, grants and spending. I would address this by;

1. Maintaining meticulous audit trails and ensure all financial and administrative records comply with state-level constitutional provisions or state statutes. 2. Make budgeting reports and updates publicly accessible to demonstrate accountability. 3. Leading by example to sustain our ethical culture to ensure all county operations meet the legal standards.
In addition to my years serving the citizens of Bonner County in the judicial system, I am a certified Paralegal. I have a deep familiarity with statutory requirements, public record rules, and procedural safeguards. As a Paralegal I've drafted, reviewed, and organized legal documents, contracts, and case files. Skills that translate directly to accurate record-keeping and adherence to legal standards in county administration. Both roles require critical thinking, oversight, and meticulous review of legal filings and court records, ensuring no errors or omissions. This attention to detail is essential for auditing and tracking county records, managing financial reports, and maintaining transparent administrative processes.
I will continue to engage with constituents by keeping communications open, accessible, and responsive. This includes regular updates through newsletters, the county website, and social media on elections, public records, and county services. I will hold community office hours and attend local events to meet residents in person, listen to concerns, and provide guidance. By encouraging feedback and maintaining transparency in all operations, I will ensure residents have confidence that the County Clerk's office is responsive, accountable, and serving the public effectively.
