The three-member Board of County Commissioners is the governing body of the county. County Commissioner is the only office that has legislative, executive and judicial responsibilities and duties. Commissioners have the power to pass ordinances, adopt budgets, fix tax levy rates and oversee the county budget. They are charged with the duty of supervising the official conduct of all county officers as their conduct relates to public monies and revenues, as well as supervising appointed boards and committees. They also act as the Board of Equalization. The Board sits as a quasi-judicial body to hear various matters, including planning and zoning requests, property valuation protests and requests for cancellation of taxes, and indigent issues among many others.

Office Sought
Bonner County Commissioner District 2
Bonner county has experienced unprecedented growth, and with that comes challenges and opportunities.
There has been a push to change the culture of Bonner county that has historically been rooted in traditional American values, Freedom, property rights, diverse landscape and a peaceful community. Into more of what we see in Oregon, Washington and California. Things like big government, higher taxes, and more government.
We've also seen significant issues within county government, operating with impunity, lack of professionalism and transparency as well as a move towards more infringement on individual liberty.
I launched my general contracting business in 2001, specializing Custome homes, underground structures and hardened shelters. I've also spent nearly a decade in civil construction, completing major infrastructure projects including water filtration facilities, administration buildings, Army Corps waterways, bridges, and roads.
Contract management, interfacing with clients and subcontractors, budgeting, coordinating professionals, and fulfilling obligations responsibly—these are core functions of both my business and the commissioner’s office.
I have also spent most of my life volunteering and organizing with liberty focused organizations.
Was an elected Precinct Comitteeman with the Republican party.
Worked in campaign for liberty, life member of the John Birch Society, served in leadership in multiple constitutional organizations focusing on protecting citizens from government overreach.
Having volunteered for decades in my community, connection to the people that share our county is part of my life.
I live here, run a business here, my children live here, and I want to maintain Bonner county for the future of our families.
