I am running for re-election to continue serving the community that raised me. As a lifelong District 21 resident and current Commission Chairman with 12 years of experience, I have the knowledge and relationships to deliver results. I want to ensure Sumner County remains a place where our children want to raise their families with excellent schools, good jobs, and responsible government that respects taxpayers.
1) Education Excellence: Our schools are the foundation of community strength. I advocate for adequate funding for Sumner County Schools and supporting our teachers. Education has always been important to my family; my parents began their careers as teachers, my father served 18 years on the Sumner County School Board, and my brother is a High School Principal.

2) Responsible Growth: We must balance development with preserving quality of life by ensuring infrastructure keeps pace with growth while maintaining what makes our community special.

3) Economic Development: Attracting quality businesses creates jobs and strengthens our tax base, allowing investment in essential services without burdening taxpayers.
Fiscal responsibility, transparency, and long-term planning guide my decisions. I ask: Is this necessary? Is this the best use of taxpayer dollars? I prioritize essential services like education, public safety, and infrastructure while avoiding wasteful spending. For growth, we need to ensure development is sustainable, includes necessary infrastructure, and contributes positively to our community and tax base.

a. I am running to offer a choice to my neighbors in local elections. Historically, there have been no Democratic candidates as options so the Republican wins by default. b. Diversity is very important to me and I hope to advocate and be a voice for ALL of my neighbors if elected. c. I hope to use my voice and the voices of my constituents to help control growth (building and development) to improve the aesthetics and lifestyle for all of us.
A few priority issues facing my district and Sumner county are book bans, ICE, and other pieces of legislation that marginalize or alienate some of our neighbors, and growth and traffic.
My priorities are my family and my neighbors when making decisions about county budgeting and growth. Finding a balance that benefits the community and our economy while striving to maintain safety and a a small town feel.
