Campaign Statement County government works best when it is dependable, accessible, and transparent — and that’s the standard I intend to uphold. The Clerk’s office supports the courts, maintains county records, oversees financial processes, and serves the Board of County Commissioners. Our community deserves dependable county services and elections administered faithfully under the law, with transparency, organization, and integrity. My goal is reliable public service residents can trust.
I want to strengthen the reliability of our local elections and ensure poll sites are supported so voters receive the same level of service across the county. Through my work as the Deputy Clerk to the County Commissioners, I’ve seen opportunities to make county services clearer, more efficient, and easier to access. I would also work to make the county website more transparent and user-friendly so residents can more easily find information about elections and county services.
I began serving in elections in 2020 as a volunteer poll worker & later as an Elections Judge, working in both rural & city precincts during spring & fall elections. That experience gave me insight into how elections function at the ground level: what voters & poll workers need for Election Day to run smoothly. I currently serve as the Commissioners’ Deputy Clerk, where I support county government by assisting with budgets, grants & contracts, public inquiries, & tax exemptions. This role allows me to work closely with elected officials & department heads & to learn how the Clerk’s Office supports county operations. Together, this experience has prepared me to bring an organized approach to administering elections & reliable county services.
Recent elections have highlighted areas where our processes can be more organized and reliable. Voters experienced changing polling locations, long lines, and even a ballot printing error. Elections should run smoothly and predictably, so voters can participate with confidence.

My focus will be on strengthening planning and communication, so elections are administered accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with the law. I will also work to ensure the Clerk’s Office provides dependable county services, from auditing and records management to elections, so residents across the county have clear information, improved online access to services, and a voting experience that is organized and fair no matter where they live.
Local government need not be complicated. County government works best when it is dependable, accessible, and focused on serving the public. The Clerk’s Office plays a central role in supporting elections, maintaining records, and helping county government function smoothly. My goal is to provide dependable, steady service, so residents know their elections are administered with care and their county services are organized and accessible. Every voter and every resident deserves to feel confident in how their county government serves them.
