My focus is on making life better for working families. We need affordable housing made possible by proper limits on development. We need developers to build adequate roads and sewage as part of new developments. We need to keep our tax money in public schools instead of charter schools that don't even have to meet the most basic state standards. We need strong public services that meet the needs of regular people. We need to protect the human rights of our citizens from book bans and from federal ICE agents harassing and imprisoning our friends and loved ones. We need a Rutherford County that works for us.
Two of my main goals are to ensure housing built is affordable and supported by the proper infrastructure built by the developer and to protect the human rights of our citizens
I would push to have developers include building adequate roads, sewage, etc in their developments. And I will make sure there are no county boards violating the human rights of our citizens and wasting our tax dollars by taking actions that will result in lawsuits and will pressure the Sheriff to cancel any agreements with ICE.
