I see the main responsibilities of a county commissioner as reviewing budgets and setting tax rates. To represent the people of the district in in to be sure there is no taxation without representation. Secondary responsibilities are answering any questions or concerns the public has about the county and representing my constituents to other various communities that are responsible for those items.
My number 1 goal is would like to accomplish in office is get Rutherford county back to its prime that made it so desirable to move to in the first place. The growth has gone unchecked. My second goal is to keep taxes as low as possible and find other sources of revenue.
I would accomplish these goals by first and foremost protecting the integrity of Rutherford county. I would review every budget presented to me and vote accordingly to the standards of Rutherford county and the publics opinion. I will listen to my constituents concerns and comments and relay politely but firmly to the committees and boards of those issues and ensure the citizens of district 9 are heard and well represented.
