Office Sought State Representative - District 29b
I want to keep fighting for working Idahoans: protect and strengthen public education, defend affordable health care and Medicaid expansion, support unions and good-paying jobs, and make it easier for families to afford housing and stay in the communities they love. I also want our government to do the basics well - fix schools, protect libraries, and invest in the public institutions that give regular people a fair shot.
I’ve served in the Idaho House, worked on Health and Welfare issues, and spent my career as a union electrician and labor advocate. That means I know how policy hits people on the job site, at the kitchen table, and in the doctor’s office. I’ve worked on protecting Medicaid, stood up for public schools, and fought anti-worker legislation. I bring both legislative experience and a blue-collar perspective to this work.
The biggest challenges are affordability, housing, access to health care, and attacks on public education and workers’ rights. Idahoans are worried about the cost of living, jobs, and housing, and they want practical solutions. I believe this office can help push back on bad policies, defend the will of the voters, and focus state government on what actually helps families build stable, decent lives.
Above all else, I consider myself to be straightforward with people. Even if we disagree, I still want to understand where you're coming from and what I can do to help. I come from organized labor, and I believe government should work for the folks who do the work. I’ll keep fighting for schools, health care, libraries, and working families. I’d be honored to earn your support.
