Idaho is facing real budget pressures that will hurt some of our most vulnerable families. The Legislature made large, permanent tax cuts and adopted a private school tax credit voucher without a stable revenue plan. When revenues came in too low, the Legislature's answer is to cut core state services that families and communities rely on. I believe budgets reflect values. My priority is people first: funding schools, public safety, and our health and welfare essential state services first, and only approving tax or spending changes that Idaho can sustainably afford over the long term. I want our Legislature to focus again on the common good, respecting the will of the people, and bringing us together to benefit all of Idaho.
I have spent my entire life preparing for public service. My experience uniquely combines legal expertise, fiscal responsibility, community involvement, and hands-on-leadership.

My early career as a government attorney taught me that careful, principled decision-making protects both taxpayer dollars and constitutional values. As a child welfare attorney, I understand how to leverage limited resources to solve some of the hardest problems families face. Teaching law for over a decade and running a CTE program at ISU strengthened my management, listening, and communication skills.

As a mother of three, I understand the pressures Idaho families face, because I have lived many of them. Personal responsibility and compassion are key.
Idaho is facing an important crossroads. The challenges we face are not abstract or partisan. If elected, my focus is on addressing these challenges with thoughtful, responsible leadership grounded in evidence, transparency, developing partnerships for the common good, and with profound respect for Idahoans and our shared values.

When it became clear we could not afford the tax cuts passed last year, essential state services were put at risk and many were cut. Fiscal responsibility is not about saying "no" reflexively; it is about making sure what we approve today does not create deeper problems tomorrow.

I have the skills to persuade, reason, and communicate so that policy reflects real Idaho values instead of ideological edges.

Idaho's budget crisis reflects years of decisions made within a single-party supermajority, even when many individual members consider themselves moderates. Real course correction requires a voice that can change the conversation, not just the tone. Adding a reasonable, effective Democrat with the skills to question assumptions, persuade colleagues, and give voice to real alternatives will bring balance that can actually change trajectories.

We all want an Idaho where our children and grandchildren can live and thrive. I believe in an Idaho that leans on our shared values to create the responsive and compassionate government we want to have, and the world we all want to live in. I believe in an Idaho for all of us.
