I will work on the following eight key priorities: Housing Affordability – Helping Idahoans stay in their communities, supporting seniors on fixed incomes Strong Public Schools – Fighting for fair, stable funding, rural equity Affordable Healthcare – Accessible healthcare, defending reproductive freedom, keeping communities safe Freedom & Privacy – Protecting personal autonomy, privacy, defending against government overreach Justice & Representation – Funding public defense, reforming prisons, expanding access to justice Fair Taxation – Protecting working families and seniors Public Land, Water & Farmland – Conserving public lands, water, and agricultural heritage Livable Wages & Workers' Rights
My work as an attorney has always been about people. Whether defending constitutional rights, fighting for fair elections, or ensuring equal access to justice, I've learned how to listen, advocate, and solve hard problems. That's the foundation I'll bring to office as our state continues to grow and change.
We live in an era defined by the unchecked expansion of big tech corporations and rapidly advancing artificial intelligence. The current technological landscape poses concrete, measurable threats to personal freedom and autonomy — from invasive data collection and behavioral tracking to algorithmic manipulation and the unauthorized monetization of private information. Yet individual liberty and the right to be free from undue surveillance are foundational to Idaho's shared identity and values. As your representative, I will pursue bipartisan legislation with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to establish clear, enforceable protections for Idahoans' personal data — safeguarding it from corporate exploitation, third-party tracking, and
Another top priority for the 2027 session is reforming legislative committee rules to ensure meaningful public input and transparency, including: 48-hour notice of public hearings; stable, pre-published agendas; agendas limited to legislation that can reasonably be heard within the allotted time; and testimony time allocated proportionally based on the number of supporters and opponents signed up for each bill.
