My goal is to ensure the government works for the people to thrive by continuing to listen to the people and adjust the focus on three pillars as we go: Investing in Future Generations through protected funding for Special Education and CTE; Restoring Local Self-Determination so Nampa keeps the power to make its own decisions; and Modernizing Infrastructure with a "receipts-first" budget where growth pays for itself. I want to build a space and a place where all neighbors are welcome and can prosper.
As a fourth-generation Idahoan, my experience is rooted in the daily reality of our community and the hard work of grassroots advocacy. I have seen firsthand how representation changes lives, having door-knocked for House Minority Leader Brandon Woodard in Kansas. My preparation for the legislature is also academic and competitive; I was a National Qualifier in Congressional Debate, which provided a foundation in legislative research and civil discourse. Combined with my work in the local service industry, I am prepared to lead with an "Open Book" approach that values listening as much as legislating.
The most significant challenge facing Nampa is ensuring as the inevitable growth of our city happens, we have the infrastructure within our state laws so our people can afford to stay and thrive. True self-determination means fighting for our neighbors to have access to affordable healthcare, housing, and education—including ensuring that special needs families have reliable access to the care and support they need. These are the foundations that allow families to remain in Nampa for generations. I will address this by prioritizing a "receipts-first" infrastructure where growth pays for itself, protecting funding for Special Education and CTE, and promoting local focused control so that Nampa has a say in our future.
My campaign is built on an "Open Book" philosophy, guided by three core values: Transparency, Availability, and Accountability. I believe you deserve a representative who is honest about where your tax dollars go and every legislative vote and decision that is made and is always available to listen to your concerns. Most importantly, I am accountable to the people, not corporate PACs. As a fourth-generation idahoan and local worker, I understand that for Nampa to thrive, its people must thrive. I am not here to follow a rigid party line, but to ensure that as our city grows, and as neighbors all without exception are welcome and have the support they need to stay and thrive.
