Campaign Statement
I am running for re-election because our state budget still needs additional reform, we have complex medical freedom-prohibiting laws that need to be repealed, and a public education system that continues to rank lowest in the nation. If re-elected, I remain committed to fiscal conservativism, upholding and defending liberty and work on public education reform.

State Representative District 11-B
1) Grocery tax repeal
2) Property tax repeal
3) Slow the out-of-control budget growth at the state level
4) Immigration reform
5) Increased school academic success
6) Child Protective Services reform
7) remove the liability shield that Idaho Power performs cloud-seeding operations behind.
I have 13 years of military and DoD service as well as 2 years as the incumbent for the Idaho State Legislature.
The repeal of property and grocery tax. These two issues while near and dear to the hearts of Idahoans, is not an issue that legislative leadership seems eager to take on. This undertaking would require a complete re-write of the current state tax structure.
As a current legislator for District 11, I have a conservative voting record of 95%+ on multiple scorecards, to include the Idaho Freedom Foundation, Institute for Legislative Analysis, IDGOP Scorecard and others.

Primary - Idaho House District 11B
I believe in a transparent and accountable government that practices fiscal discipline when allocating public funds, while staying attentive to the voices of our constituents. Using a trusted common-sense approach, grounded in thorough research, review, and discussion, is key to making smart decisions that serve the best interests of Idaho taxpayers.
Over my 24 years of public service with the City of Caldwell (recently retired as City Clerk), I managed city records and budgets, facilitated public meetings, and worked with city staff and community members on special historic preservation and military honor projects. Within my City Council-appointed role, I promoted transparency and maintained an open-door policy to help citizens address their concerns. As a conscientious and conservative Republican, I will approach decisions with genuine care for the people of District 11. I feel that I can bring decades of hands-on experience to the Statehouse.
Public safety should always be a priority, along with honoring our veterans and military families. I back the blue by supporting our police, firefighters, and EMS. As a military spouse, I am committed to standing and supporting our veterans and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed.
With Idaho's continued growth, ensuring the availability of infrastructure, particularly for managing water resources, has become a real challenge. This is particularly true with the state's reliance on agriculture and its strong ties to the economy. I will collaborate with others to look for ways to upgrade and improve efficiency, thereby reducing waste and establishing new or revised management strategies.
My husband and I returned to Idaho after many years of military service because we both had fond memories of life here during our youth and wanted our son to experience those same conservative principles. We are alumni of Greenleaf Friends Academy and truly value those years that developed our character and utilized opportunities to serve others.
I am running for Idaho House District 11 because I love Caldwell, I love Idaho, and I love America. I want to help ensure those treasured values carry on for future generations.
