If elected, I want to help Idaho strengthen working families, agriculture, veterans, seniors, caregivers, and rural communities through practical and accountable government. I want to promote stewardship of our land and water, support policies that protect long term agricultural productivity, and encourage solutions that are efficient rather than wasteful. I also want to improve trust between citizens and government by listening carefully, working transparently, and helping build systems that create lasting value for local communities.
My preparation comes from service, work, and direct experience with the needs of ordinary people. I am a U.S. Army veteran, a caregiver, and someone who has worked closely with seniors, families, and people facing real daily pressures. I have also studied practical issues that affect our region, including watershed conditions, agriculture, infrastructure, and public policy. That experience has taught me to look at problems in systems, to value stewardship and accountability, and to approach public service with seriousness, humility, and a willingness to listen.
Some of the most significant challenges are the cost of living, pressure on working families, support for agriculture, access to reliable care for seniors and vulnerable people, and the need for wiser stewardship of Idaho’s land and water. We also face the challenge of making government more useful and less reactive. I believe these can be addressed by focusing on practical coordination, long term productivity, stronger rural representation, responsible resource use, and thoughtful evaluation of new opportunities based on facts, logistics, and Idaho values.
I want voters to know I take service seriously. I am not running to speak over people. I am running to listen, work, and represent them faithfully. I believe Idaho can lead through stewardship instead of waste, collaboration instead of fragmentation, and practical innovation rooted in responsibility and restraint. Whether the issue is agriculture, water, caregiving, or rural community life, I will approach this office with respect for the people, respect for the land, and a commitment to honest public service.
Campaign Statement People first. Politics second. I am running for Idaho State House to bring a new voice and new vision to Idaho politics that is people-centered and people-focused.

I will bring a new voice and new vision to Idaho politics by bringing a people-centered and people-focused approach to the State house.

I will defend and always advocate that public tax dollars be used for public education funding. I will fight for access to healthcare resources that are continually diminishing throughout our State. Additionally, I will advocate for local control for municipalities to make decisions that best address issues within their own communities. And lastly, I will always be a champion that public lands stay in public hands.

I am just one voice in a loud cacophony of political entrenchment. But, if elected, I will use my voice in a responsible and effective way to loudly to advocate for the people.

I am people-oriented in all that I professionally do. I have been a public educator at The University of Idaho for nearly 15 years. Additionally, I am an elected official proudly serving on the Moscow City Council. And lastly, but certainly not least, I am a part-time bartender in Pullman, Washington. In everything I do, I connect with people in valuable and enriching ways. I listen to people. I learn from people. And I advocate for people. I believe that my three professions give me an extremely strong skillset to be an effective Legislator for our district. I will always prioritize people over politics and will be motivated in trying to make people's lives a little bit better through smart, effective, and thoughtful policy.
It's clear that our political climate has grown more and more divisive and distrusting from all sides. This general climate produces ineffective legislation that often doesn't work for Idahoans. Thus, one of the most significant challenges we face is finding ways to communicate effectively and honestly with each other. I possess the ability to breakthrough some logjams of ideology and of communication-- hearing from a multiplicity of perspectives in order to better address issues. I have excelled at this as an educator: creating space for views and values to be expressed, engaged with, and respectfully discussed. I will take this approach to The State House in order to bring about better legislation that actually works for the people.
I am a people person. My cup get's filled by connecting with and learning from others -- and at the heart of everything I do: teaching, bartending, and my role on City Council, I work for others. I aim to bring a bit of humanity back to politics. I aim to represent all of District six -- even those that don't share similar views. I look forward to the responsibility entrusted to me were I to be elected and I won't take it lightly -- I will listen, learn, and then lead to best represent the people of district six.
Campaign Statement I’m running to ensure rural Idaho communities have a strong voice and real access to the care and opportunities we all deserve. As a mother, and caregiver, I’ve experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to access healthcare. I have had to wait months, travel hours, or both, to see a provider; a challenge many families are facing as Idaho loses qualified medical professionals, especially in women’s healthcare. My priorities include strengthening public education, protecting our forests and public lands, and supporting working families with livable wages. I believe in practical, community-centered solutions that improve our quality of life, and ensure every Idahoan can live with dignity, safety, and stability.

If elected, I will focus on protecting Idaho’s public lands from sale or privatization, ensuring they remain accessible now and for future generations. I will work to strengthen k-12 and public college & university education, with an emphasis on agricultural research and development that supports our rural economies. I am also committed to improving access to healthcare by bringing providers back to our communities and investing in mobile care options, especially for women and children who are currently facing long wait times and limited access.
My experience as a public servant, nonprofit leader, and advocate has prepared me to understand both policy and the real-life impact of legislative decisions. I have served on national and state boards, advised on civil rights issues, and successfully worked to change policy at the state level -- most notably expanding the use of campaign funds for dependent care. I’m also a working mom raising a family in rural Idaho, so I understand firsthand the challenges our communities face and the importance of practical, effective solutions.
One of the most significant challenges facing our communities is access to essential services, especially healthcare and education. Rural areas are losing medical providers, leaving families waiting months for care. I believe we can address this by supporting providers, removing barriers to care, and investing in mobile healthcare services to reach underserved areas. At the same time, we must ensure our public lands are protected from being sold off and continue investing in education systems that prepare our workforce and sustain our local economies. We will all need to work to defend our fundamental right to vote, by ensuring every eligible voter can cast a ballot and that absentee voting remains accessible, secure, and counted.
I believe in leadership that is grounded in community, accountability, and respect. I’m not running to represent a political agenda... I’m running to represent the people who live and work here. Our families deserve reliable healthcare, strong schools, protected public lands, and an economy that works for everyone. I will listen, show up, and work hard to make sure your voices are heard and your needs are met.
