Campaign Statement I'm running to represent the Coeur d'Alene area in Boise. I'm a teacher and parent who's concerned about where this state is heading, and want to make sure all our voices are heard.

Office Sought Idaho House Seat 4B
If elected, I will prioritize restoring civil liberties and solidify the state's financial obligations to schools, libraries, first responders, and public infrastructure. Many of these goals will require a rollback of unhelpful and ideologically driven regulations that emerged over the past few legislative sessions. I will bring greater transparency and fiscal responsibility to the legislative process by working more actively with local stakeholders on their priorities, including making fair rules about zoning, housing and development that help address the challenges of the unaffordable cost of living for many in our community.

Local Union President, Coeur d'Alene Education Association; Teacher, Coeur d'Alene and Lakeland School Districts; Kootenai County Democrat Central Committee MA Philosophy and PhD Music Parent, Taxpayer, and Engaged Community Member
More than any single policy, my hope is to bring civic dialogue and engagement back into the political process, so that everyone in our community feels like their voice is being heard in the Idaho legislature, and they know their representative is listening to them. Coeur d'Alene has a wide variety of differing political views, but I am confident we can come together to create a local platform that reflects who we are as a community.
As a representative, I do not answer to a political party, but to this community. We will work together to establish how I represent us in Boise, and I'll make sure to be open and available to hear everyone's input, no matter where you land on the political spectrum.
