Office Sought
State Senate - District 29
If elected, I want to keep focusing on the issues that matter most to Idaho families: strong public schools, affordable health care, housing, and an economy that works for working people. I want to protect public education from voucher schemes, support school facilities and career technical education, and pursue practical property tax relief. I also want to bring more civility and common sense to the Legislature and work across the aisle where we can to solve real problems instead of chasing political distractions.
I have served our community in the Idaho Legislature from 2006-10 and from 2020 to the present. I have spent years working on the real issues facing Idahoans. I’m an attorney, and a longtime advocate for the rule of law, consumer protection and constitutional government. In the Legislature, I’ve worked on education, health care, consumer protection, first responder issues, and election integrity. That experience has taught me how to read bills carefully, ask tough questions, and fight for practical policies that improve everyday life.
The biggest challenges my constituents face are affordability, underinvestment in public education, and a political climate that too often rewards division over results. Idaho families are feeling pressure from housing costs, health care costs, and the general cost of living. At the same time, we need to make sure our schools are funded, our infrastructure keeps up with growth, and our communities stay safe. I believe I can use this office to help push the Legislature toward serious, fact-based policymaking that addresses those challenges directly.
It is an honor to serve this community. I take that responsibility seriously. I will keep showing up, listening, and working hard to represent all of District 29 - not just the loudest voices. My approach is straightforward: protect public schools, defend personal freedom, support working families, and use common sense. I believe Idaho does best when we stay grounded in facts, respect one another, and focus on building a better future for our kids and grandkids.
