I have always believed Idaho works best when leaders stay focused on the issues that matter most to families, farmers, businesses, and communities. Unfortunately, the political division and dysfunction that have damaged our nation’s capital are beginning to take hold here at home. Personal attacks and political gamesmanship are undermining the legislative process, and the people of Idaho deserve better.
I am running because I believe in stepping up, not standing by. District 24 needs a senator who will focus on sustainable agriculture, water, community safety, support for law enforcement, veterans, the National Guard, and a strong business climate for employers both large and small.
Local Leadership – Served as Filer City Councilman and Twin Falls County Commissioner.
State Leadership – Appointed by four governors to lead the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections and the Idaho Department of Corrections.
Problem-Solver – Helped address overcrowding in the county jail, worked with state and local partners to secure a third crossing, and defended public lands against special interest projects.
I’ve worked to improve public safety, support families, and make government more effective and accountable.
Keeping public education funded as well as law enforcement. Water is a huge issue in our state and we need to be proactive in protecting it. These are all so very important to Idahoans. Listening to constituents and working on good policy that will benefit Idaho.
I believe keeping local control is also needs to be enforced. Those closest to the people know what is actually needed.
I won't come into this position with my own agenda, but that of my district.
What drives me is simple: faith, family, and service. As a lifelong Republican, I believe in conservative values that put community first, protect taxpayers, and strengthen opportunities for the next generation. Right now, our region faces critical issues — from managing growth responsibly, to ensuring public safety, to planning for the future needs of our families and businesses.
I bring proven leadership and a deep connection to the people of District 24. My focus is on finishing important projects already underway, while preparing for the challenges ahead.
