Office Sought Idaho Attorney General
I graduated with honors from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School and have over two decades of legal experience — from a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins in its New York City office, to Associate General Counsel at Micron Technology, to my current business and litigation practice in Boise. I also clerked for the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. Beyond my paid professional work, I provide pro bono legal counsel in child protection cases and recently served as Board Chair for the grassroots civic organization Mormon Women for Ethical Government. I understand the importance of principled, ethical leadership and how the law should be used as a tool for justice — not as a weapon for political gain.
My pledge is simple: restore integrity and trust in the Attorney General's office and prioritize serving all Idahoans — not political agendas. I will uphold Idaho's Constitution and laws, protect our public lands and water, and deliver sound legal advice free of political drama. The Office of Attorney General has been diminished, and I am running to restore the tradition of true public servants like Jim Jones, Larry EchoHawk, and Lawrence Wasden. Above all, I will demonstrate that the AG's office represents all Idahoans, regardless of party affiliation. I will be the people’s lawyer.
The greatest challenge facing the AG's office is restoring the trust Idahoans deserve from their chief legal officer. An AG, like the incumbent, who prioritizes politics over the law undermines confidence in every institution they touch. I will refocus this office on its core mission: defending Idaho's Constitution, upholding our laws, protecting consumers, providing sound legal advice to state government, and ensuring the law is applied fairly and consistently — for everyone, regardless of who is asking.
I'm a longtime Idahoan — a Borah High School graduate, BYU-trained attorney, mother of three, and community volunteer. My legal career brought me back home to Idaho, where I've spent my life serving my neighbors and raising my family. I'm not running to make headlines or seek higher office. I'm running to do the job — to be the people's lawyer for Idaho, with competence, integrity, and genuine love for this state. I would be honored to earn your vote.
