My education in chemical engineering, finance, and data science—paired with 20+ years working with major organizations and running small businesses—has trained me to manage budgets, solve problems, and make decisions based on facts. I’m known for simplifying complex issues into clear, practical steps, and I bring a service-minded, team-first approach built through nonprofit work and coaching youth sports.
I’ll support economic development by making City Hall easier for businesses to work with through clearer processes, timelines, and communication. I’ll stay connected with existing local business owners to understand real obstacles, while supporting smart, balanced growth that attracts the kinds of businesses residents want without losing what makes Fulshear special.
I would prioritize roads/traffic, infrastructure planning (including drainage), public safety readiness, and clearer city communication as Fulshear grows. My focus would be on setting measurable goals, using resident feedback and data to rank needs, and providing plain-language updates so people know what’s being done, what it costs, and when it will be completed.
The biggest concerns with rapid growth are traffic congestion, infrastructure strain, responsible budgeting, and protecting Fulshear’s character. I’ll push for a long-term plan with clear milestones, practical growth management that doesn’t overburden current residents, and consistent transparency so the community understands the tradeoffs and decisions being made.
I’m running because I want City Hall to be more connected to everyday residents and to bring awareness, representation, and clarity—especially for District 3/Northeast Fulshear. I want people to feel informed, heard, and confident that their concerns are being taken seriously.
My vision is for a Fulshear that grows the right way—meeting real, everyday needs while protecting the small-town charm that makes this community special. Over the next 5–10 years, I want Fulshear to stay a place where families feel safe, neighborhoods are cared for, and residents can trust that city decisions are thoughtful and transparent.
I will keep residents engaged through consistent, simple updates on what Council is discussing and how it impacts neighborhoods, along with regular opportunities to give input through meetups, surveys, and open Q&A. I’ll also maintain a strong district presence by showing up to community meetings and explaining not just what decisions were made, but why they were made.
Early in my career, I served as a patrol police officer in Atlanta, where I gained firsthand experience protecting communities and saw the importance of strong public safety as cities grow. After moving to Texas, I built a career in the organic recycling industry, where success requires planning, budgeting, and long-term problem solving. I have lived in Fulshear for eight years and have been active in the community as a youth sports coach. My background in public safety, business, and community involvement gives me the perspective to help guide Fulshear’s growth while protecting the quality of life we all value.
I will support economic development by fostering a business-friendly environment that encourages both new and existing businesses to grow. Drawing on my experience in the private sector, I understand the importance of clear regulations, strategic planning, and addressing infrastructure and workforce needs. I will listen to local business owners, identify opportunities for partnerships, and advocate for policies that help Fulshear attract investment, create jobs, and maintain the quality of life that makes our city thrive.
I believe Fulshear should prioritize public safety, parks and recreation, and infrastructure. I will support strong, well trained law enforcement and community programs to keep neighborhoods safe. For parks and recreation, I will advocate for expanded access and quality spaces for families. Let's keep youth sports right here in Fulshear. On infrastructure, I will push for smart planning, timely maintenance, and improvements that keep our city functioning efficiently and support growth while preserving the charm that makes Fulshear special.
Fulshear’s rapid growth brings challenges that demand thoughtful leadership: keeping our community safe, managing traffic and infrastructure, and protecting the quality of life that drew families here. I will ensure public safety grows with our population by supporting well trained law enforcement and emergency services. I will push for smart, timely investments in roads, utilities, and public spaces, while promoting development that balances new housing with parks and community character. My focus is guiding Fulshear’s growth responsibly, so our city remains a safe, vibrant, and connected place to live.
I’m motivated to serve on Fulshear City Council because I care deeply about our community and want to help guide its growth responsibly. Through years of coaching and community involvement, I’ve seen firsthand what makes Fulshear thrive. I want to ensure our city grows in a way that keeps neighborhoods safe and families connected
My vision for Fulshear over the next 5-10 years is responsible, controlled growth that keeps our city safe, family friendly, and connected. I want strong neighborhoods, quality parks, and infrastructure that meets demand, making sure progress enhances, not compromises, our city's character.
I plan to engage residents by being visible, approachable, and responsive. I will attend community events, provide regular updates through email, social media, and virtual check-ins, and maintain open lines of communication. Listening is key, I will gather input on city projects, safety, and growth, and make sure residents understand council decisions that impact them. My goal is to make every neighbor feel heard, informed, and involved in shaping Fulshear’s future.
