As a recent Katy ISD graduate, and with two brothers currently in Katy ISD, I want to help students build a career and future within the district just like I once did. As someone who was recently in the classroom, I understand the challenges students face. I want to help students who struggle in school have the opportunity to enjoy education.
My top priorities are managing the budget, academic curriculum, and public safety. I want the Katy ISD community to know I will be transparent about how money is spent. Taxpayers deserve to know where their money goes and that it is being used responsibly.

Next is academics. I want students to have access to updated materials that prepare them for life after high school, whether that is college, trade school, or the workforce.

Public safety is also extremely important. Parents should feel confident that students are getting to school safely and returning home safely. I want to ensure strong safety measures and infrastructure, so students and staff feel secure.
I would begin by reviewing a full overview of what is being spent in Katy ISD. My priorities would be maintaining strong support for staff and teacher pay, public safety, and essential school resources.

After reviewing the budget, I would identify areas where spending may be unnecessary or inefficient. Those funds could then be redirected toward programs that directly benefit students, such as classroom resources, school improvements, and transportation.

Responsible budgeting means focusing spending on what benefits students and teachers the most.
I graduated from Patricia E. Paetow High School in 2025. I served as captain of the Cross-Country team and went to the state meet two years in a row. I was also involved in HOSA, where I helped with blood drive services. I currently serve as a KEYS mentor where I mentor a student during lunch.
While my experience is still developing, I am committed to public service. I currently attend Houston Community College studying Government and Public Service with a 3.7 GPA.

I serve as a member of the Student Government Association and I am part of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I also work part time as a sales lead where I manage sales, handle transactions, and interact with customers.

These experiences have helped me build leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that are important when making decisions that affect the community.
believe school board members should maintain a strong relationship with the community and with each other. Working together as a team helps ensure the district continues moving forward.

School board service should not be about politics. It should be about supporting students and improving the district. I would focus on listening to parents, teachers, and students while working with other board members to make responsible decisions for Katy ISD.
I will stay engaged with the Katy ISD community and be transparent about decisions and how money is spent. I believe it is important to ask questions and consider all options before making decisions.

I will also ensure that parents, teachers, and community members have their voices heard before the board makes important decisions.
I’m running because this district shaped my family and now serves my children. As a proud Katy ISD graduate raising three kids currently enrolled at all three levels in the District, I’m invested in its future. I’m committed to strong schools, supporting teachers, and ensuring every student is prepared for success—without politics.
My priorities are restoring a balanced budget, improving healthcare options for staff, and keeping national politics out of local board decisions. Katy ISD must have strong fiscal oversight while navigating a challenging state funding environment and advocating for sustainable support in Austin. Improving healthcare means ensuring staff have access to high-quality, affordable coverage that meets diverse needs, supports retention, and values the work of our teachers and staff. The Board must also stay focused on students, strengthening classrooms and protecting the high-quality education that draws families to Katy.
I would manage Katy ISD’s budget with fiscal discipline, transparency, and data-driven decision-making. Strategies include prioritizing spending that protects classroom instruction, teacher pay/benefits, and campus safety; giving principals flexibility to tailor resources to their campuses; regularly reviewing data to identify efficiencies and cost savings; and advocating for sustainable state funding. My experience analyzing complex data and overseeing long-term budgets at Fort Bend MUD 151 equips me to implement these strategies effectively and ensure resources directly support student learning and staff success.
Both my wife and I attended Katy ISD (K–12). As a parent, I’ve been an active volunteer, serving on the Bond Advisory Committee and supporting Wolman Elementary PTA, WoodCreek JH PTA, WoodCreek JH Band Boosters, the Wolman GUIDES program, and the Katy Bengal Brigade/Cheerleaders Booster Club.
I hold a business degree from the University of Houston have spent my career in an advisory role analyzing complex data and guiding strategic decisions for major organizations. My work focuses on identifying meaningful trends within large data sets and translating them into clear, actionable insights—skills directly applicable to school board decision-making. I regularly present to large audiences, strengthening my ability to communicate complex issues clearly. As VP of Fort Bend MUD 151, I’ve led long-term capital planning, lowered tax rates, executed bond programs, and maintained fiscally conservative budgets with consistent surpluses, reinforcing my experience in governance and oversight.
School board members must represent the entire community—not just one group or viewpoint. That requires listening across the district to families, teachers, staff, and students, and understanding the “why” behind concerns. While not every decision will please everyone, trustees should gather input, weigh all perspectives, and make thoughtful, student-focused choices. I’m committed to leading with accessibility, engagement, and decisions grounded in what’s best for all.
I will focus on governance: setting clear policy, high expectations, and holding leadership accountable—without micromanaging. I’ll use data and community input to guide decisions, listen across the district, and engage respectfully with fellow trustees to ensure thoughtful, professional, student-focused leadership.
I am motivated by the opportunity to improve the lived experience for students, families, and educators in Katy ISD.
My immediate priorities for the district are educator and paraprofessional retention, building pathways for student success, and creating greater budget transparency in the district. I will work closely with the community, subject matter experts, and other members of the board to ensure that these priorities are met.
Improving the budget starts with understanding the needs of the district. That starts with transparency. I will take a community-forward approach to the budget by working with the district’s chief financial officer to create more digestible budget plans so that residents of Katy ISD are better informed on where their money is going.
As a community organizer in Katy ISD, I have worked to ensure that families, students, and educators are informed and engaged in decisions that affect their schools. I've organized the community to attend school board meetings, provided updates about district policies, and helped amplify voices.
As a nonprofit leader and community organizer, I have spent my career working with elected officials to advocate for policies that improve the lives of communities where I live and work. I will use my experience as an advocate to find informed, diplomatic solutions to everything I face on the board.
A school board should have a relationship built on trust and transparency with those it serves. As trustee, it will be my responsibility to build that trust by meeting Katy ISD families where they are. Specifically, I will hold quarterly town halls and send newsletter updates to keep folks informed.
Just like I plan to represent every Katy ISD resident, I will also work with every member of the board to make Katy ISD the best place to learn. That means cooperation, discussion, and meaningful contribution with other board members, and active communication with the community.
