The County Treasurer is an elected position for a four-year term. The County Treasurer’s responsibilities include:Collecting property and mobile home taxes and distributing them to the proper taxing bodies.Handling the financial transactions associated with County government, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.Investing the County’s assets and balancing the funds and accounts.Posting payroll to the general ledger.
