I decided to run for office for 3 reasons: 1. I personally experienced tax valuation increases that were rising at 3 times the rate of inflation. 2. When I went through the appeals process, I discovered systemic problems in how the current assessor is valuing properties. 3. I realized that these excessive increases are a special problem for retirees, those on fixed incomes and first time home buyers. I will fix that!
1. Clear and Fair Appeals Process.
2. Assessment Accuracy and Audits.
3. Predictability and Gradual Adjustments in line with CPI
Growth would be in line with the growth of the community. New Investment will be attracted by reasonable property taxes. Core services will be ever increasing through automation.
I will implement AI for both productivity gain and customer service improvement. AI will service the property owners 24/7/365 and empower them with the tools to assure their property assessments are fair, reasonable and transparent.
