While serving the citizens of Blanco, Kendall and Gillespie counties, I have earned a Master Peace Officer's License awarded by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. I currently have over 4000 hours of training in various subject areas that I use daily in the performance of my duties as Constable. I have also received numerous awards and commendations during my time of service. I have received the Meritorious Service Commendation 5 times, the Life Saving Commendation 2 times, and several other service commendations. I also received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of valued service twice from the Kendall County Commissioners Court, I currently hold a bachelor of Science Degree in education from (Southwest) Texas State University.
Upon taking office as your Constable of Pct. 4, in January of 2027, I will continue to patrol the precinct, assist other law enforcement agencies, issuing traffic citations as needed and continue implementing a program for collection of outstanding warrants. When elected as your Constable, I will continue these activities as well as work with the court serving as Bailiff for the Justice of the Peace court and continue to serve the process of the court.
I have proudly served as a Texas peace officer for more than twenty-five years. I worked for multiple departments, held positions of increasing responsibility, and served communities across South Texas, along the border, and along major interstate corridors. I have also served in the private sector, including protecting our schools—experiences that shaped my understanding of public safety, leadership, and accountability. One principle guided every decision I made: family comes first. I understand the challenges working families face because I have lived them. Public service must protect our values, not come at their expense. Public service is about people. It requires communication, respect, and trust. While law enforcement experience matters, an elected official must meet a higher standard by listening and responding to the needs of the community. That is why I am running. Our community deserves leadership that values public safety, families, and accountability.
