What would you do to improve the operations of the court?
What qualities make/would make you a good judge?
I was appointed to the bench in December of 2025 to replace Judge Johnson, who retired. He graciously allowed me to observe court for months prior to that, so I could hit the ground running. Court is held on Mondays, and hundreds of people come through at that time. Working with the court administrator, we have been able to transform the paper system into a more efficient electronic operation. Also, I strongly believe that the justice system should be here for all of us. Toward that end, I have brought in crayons and coloring books out of my own pocket for kids who are waiting with their parents for their case to be called.
I am fair, balanced, perceptive, and experienced. I treat everyone who comes before me with respect and dignity.
