I am a strong supporter of public education. I believe it is the best place to meet the needs of all students. My goal is to maintain and strengthen the excellent work of the St. Charles City School District teachers and staff, in addition to preserving and advocating for public school funding.
Within the St. Charles City School District I had the opportunity to work in the special education area as both an evaluator and as a teacher of the learning disabled. This experience taught me to translate data into usable information for teachers from K-12 to university levels.
