1). Supporting students and staff because every child deserves a high-quality education that prepares them for college, careers and the workforce. 2). Students learn best when they feel safe and valued. I will prioritize school safety. 3). Our community deserves transparency and fiscal responsibility. I will ensure smart budgeting that keeps resources focused on students.
Sullivan School District, 1994-2024: assistant superintendent of curriculum, instruction and assessment, 5 years; primary principal, 11 years; assistant elementary principal, 3 years; kindergarten teacher, 10 years; Title I preschool teacher, 1 year. Currently working with the South Central RPDC at Missouri S&T as a coaching support team member for public schools.
