As VP of Mercy Hospital, I organized a large budget and many employees. I was on the Union School Board for six years, four as president. I have served 14 years on the board, 11 as president. The Missouri Community College Association honored me as Outstanding Trustee. I am active in the community and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Chamber of Commerce.

My lifetime experiences of being a wife, mother, teacher (24 years teaching special need students) and entrepreneuer/small business owner has taught me the value of using both money and time responsibly. I am passionate about learning on all levels and am able to research, explore and do the hard work to help ECC continue to be a positive part of the community.
