I’m running because South Mississippi deserves a representative who will show up, listen, and fight for our conservative values. Our district needs a new generation of leadership, leaders who will defend faith and family, protect our farmers, support military families and small businesses, stand with the Constitution, secure our border, and unleash American energy.
The experience that best qualifies me for this position is my record of servant leadership across military, civic, and community organizations. From being selected as Soldier Leader of the Battalion during Basic Training and serving as Class President in Officer Candidate School, to leading statewide and regional nonprofit and professional organizations, I have consistently been entrusted with responsibility, accountability, and people. I have worked across diverse communities, managed teams and large-scale events, and collaborated with public, private, and nonprofit leaders to deliver results. These roles strengthened my ability to listen, build consensus, and translate ideas into action. Most importantly, they reflect a long-standing commitment to public service and to strengthening the communities I am called to serve.
To improve the U.S. health system for Mississippi, I would support reforms that strengthen access to care in rural and underserved communities. The 340B Drug Pricing Program should be protected but better targeted so its benefits directly support safety-net providers serving high-need states like Mississippi, rather than being disproportionately leveraged by large systems in wealthier states. I would also work to change the Medicare Advantage Plan, which is placing growing financial strain on rural hospitals and often fails to adequately cover critical services such as swing beds and post-acute care. Policies must ensure reimbursement reflects the realities of rural health care delivery, protects small hospitals from closure, and prioritizes patient access over corporate abuse. A fair, transparent system should reward care for vulnerable populations and keep health care local and accessible for Mississippians
Effective immigration policy must secure all borders, not just land crossings. The United States has over 12,000 miles of coastline and vast maritime borders that are often under-resourced, yet frequently exploited for illegal entry, drug trafficking, and human smuggling. As a Marine Patrol Officer with the State of Mississippi, I have firsthand experience working alongside Border Patrol and other federal, state, and local agencies, and I have seen the need for expanded coordination and enforcement in the maritime domain. I support increasing resources, technology, and joint operations for coastal and maritime border security while ensuring immigration pathways remain legal, orderly, and humane. Securing our borders, land and sea, is essential to stopping illegal drugs, protecting communities, and restoring confidence in a lawful immigration system.
American foreign policy must protect our national interests without making the United States the default lead actor in every global conflict. While maintaining our position as a global superpower is essential for economic stability, national security, and deterrence, it should not come at the unnecessary expense of American lives. As a nation, we must prioritize diplomacy, strategic alliances, and burden-sharing with partners, reserving military force for clear threats to U.S. interests and national security. Our servicemembers should only be placed in harm’s way when objectives are defined, achievable, and vital. Strength comes not from constant intervention, but from disciplined leadership that values both American security and the lives of those who serve.
