Occupation County Elected Official
Retired law enforcement officer where I hold many certifications and been the elected JP for the past 8 years.
I have been efficiently running the office for the past 8 years and keeping up with the day to day business of the court.
I Believe litigant's should have access to legal advice if they wish to have assistance.
There is no backlog of cases currently for this court because of the efficiency the court maintains now.
Well I believe any donations to a candidate comes with no strings attached and that all candidates should express this openly to donators.
This court has a great mediation process which I believe all courts should adopt to assist litigants to help them settle a case.

Occupation District Attendance Officer
My experience is backed by a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies From Texas Wesleyan University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from University of North Texas. I currently work as the District Attendance Officer for Arlington ISD
In the U.S. Navy Reserve, I served for 22 years and retired as a disabled veteran. As a Military Police Supervising Officer, I managed complex operations, supervised personnel, and enforced strict accountability under zero-fail conditions. I have spent 20 years in the Tarrant County legal system as a Juvenile Probation Officer, followed by another two decades as an Attendance Officer for Arlington ISD. In these roles, I have mediated disputes daily between students, parents, and administrators.
We must ensure e-filing does not become a barrier for those without reliable internet or technical expertise. I will ensure our clerks are fully equipped to assist all residents, whether they file online or need to submit paperwork in person. Second, access means minimizing the financial burden of appearing in court. I will explore expanded options for remote or virtual hearings, night court, for specific types of administrative docket calls. Employees should not have to lose a full day’s wages.
I will implement proactive docket management. This means heavily utilizing dedicated dockets—grouping similar hearings on the same day so the court can move through cases efficiently without constantly shifting gears. We will strictly enforce scheduling rules and limit unnecessary continuances that allow cases to stagnate. We will maximize the court’s existing technology to resolve undisputed administrative matters without requiring full, in-person hearings.
I will maintain an absolute firewall between campaign finances and judicial duties. No donor receives favored access or special treatment. If any genuine conflict of interest or appearance of impropriety arises involving a donor or party before the court, I will immediately recuse myself under Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 18b. I am not beholden to special interest groups or partisan donors. As Citizens enter Precinct 4, their cases will be decided solely on the facts and evidence, nothing else.
The rise in civil disputes driven by economic strain, and the ongoing challenge of youth truancy. The growing volume of evictions and small claims, I will implement a highly organized docket that ensures swift, legally sound resolutions—protecting both property rights and due process for all citizens. Regarding truancy, I bring unmatched experience. I know how to hold families accountable while addressing the root causes of absenteeism to keep our youth on track.
