The mayor, with the approval of the city commission, is hereby authorized and directed to prepare for community disasters, utility to the fullest extent existing agencies within the city. The mayor, as executive head of city government, shall be responsible for the organization, administration and operation of the city's emergency services force, working through the county emergency services coordinator and the city deputy coordinator.This is a 2 year term.
