We must increase education funding, tie it to inflation, and close corporate tax loopholes. We should guarantee full-day Pre-K, free and healthy school meals, multilingual programs, and more funding for special education. Our teachers and staff need living wages and respect, not book bans, curriculum censorship, and partisan attacks. I also support lower tuition, academic freedom, and free speech.
Texas must strengthen its electric grid and transmission systems without putting the cost on consumers. I support investing in energy storage; improving efficiency; prioritizing wind, solar, and renewables; and expanding job training. We must also invest in water supply and planning, repair aging pipes, promote reuse and recapture, regulate data centers, and hold utilities and industry accountable
Every Texan deserves high-quality, affordable healthcare close to home. We should expand Medicaid and strengthen mental health care. We must restore reproductive freedom and ensure abortion, IVF, and birth control are accessible and affordable. I also support increasing access to primary care and improving state programs for early childhood screenings, vaccinations, and chronic disease prevention.
I am supportive of calls for a moratorium until stronger sustainability conditions are met. Many communities are wholly unable to stop harms from data centers and current regulations are inadequate. At a minimum, they must fund their own infrastructure upgrades, pay impact fees, meet energy-efficiency and water-use limits, use modern cooling, and provide co-located clean energy and storage.
My qualifications are being a Co-Chair of the GPUS, a former DNC Delegate & Youth Leader of the Ceasefire Delegation, experience in the Texas Capitol twice in policy development, & youth activism.
I will fight to fully fund our public schools, without compromise or excuses. I will work to modernize the funding formula, invest in our communities through increasing the basic allotment, raising teacher pay, expanding disability support, and student care, to truly create a safe, strong learning condition for our children. Texas must fund educational excellence, for our communities & our future.
I will bring forth a Texas Green New Deal to modernize our energy grid, expand affordable clean energy, protect & invest in our water infrastructure, defend our aquifers and natural resources, & expand conservation efforts to protect our environment. We can build climate resilience, lower costs, & protect our land & water for our posterity, together against billionaires, corporations & corruption.
Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege. I will fight for universal healthcare that guarantees every Texan is able to receive quality treatment and care, regardless of their financial status, along with strengthening rural hospital & eliminating medical debt. No Texan should go bankrupt or die due to their inability to afford the commodification of basic dignity.
I will support banning AI Datacenters! There is no question about it. We all hate them.
