Rapid regional growth in Williamson County has increased cost-of-living pressures for working families, seniors, and low-income residents. While the Commissioners Court does not set retail prices or municipal utility rates, it controls key levers in county taxation, infrastructure planning, grant funding allocations, and intergovernmental partnerships to improve affordability. By combining fiscal discipline at the county level with targeted investments in essential health, housing, and mobility services, the Commissioners Court can ease everyday financial burdens for all residents across Precinct 4 and Williamson County.
