I'm a Marine veteran, small business owner, husband, and father. I’ve seen property taxes, utility rates, and grocery bills go up, so I understand how hard families are working to stay afloat.
I will fight to increase the basic allotment and move Texas toward enrollment-based funding so schools have reliable resources to plan, retain great teachers, and manage rising costs. Instead of diverting public dollars to a private-school voucher scam, we should invest them in our classrooms so every student, regardless of their ZIP code, has the opportunity to succeed.
Texas families need reliable energy and water they can afford. I support strengthening our power grid and investing now in aging water infrastructure, diversified water sources, and drought preparedness. We can meet the urgent needs of a growing Texas while protecting the Texas we know and love for the next generation.
Healthcare costs are crushing Texas families. I'll fight to lower prescription, insurance, and out-of-pocket costs, hold large corporations accountable when they put profits ahead of patients, and expand access to preventive, mental health, and maternal care. Texans should be able to see a doctor, get the medicine they need, and care for their families without going into debt.
I support a moratorium on new data centers until Texas has safeguards for our water, grid, and taxpayers. Data centers consume enormous resources, and families shouldn't pay the price. I'll require transparency on water and energy use, protect groundwater and rural wells, and make large users pay their fair share of infrastructure costs. Growth cannot come at taxpayers’ expense.
