32 PROPOSED TAX LEVY (REPLACEMENT AND DECREASE) Anderson Township Park District
A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A replacement of a portion of an existing levy, being a reduction of 0.1 mill to constitute a tax for the benefit of Anderson Township Park District for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the park district and purchasing, maintaining and improving lands for parks and recreational purposes, including payment of debt service on bonds issued by the Park District, that the county auditor estimates will collect $3,344,770 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.8 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $63 for each $100,000 of the county auditor s appraised value, for 10 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
