26 PROPOSED TAX LEVY (RENEWAL AND INCREASE) Township of Symmes
A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A renewal of 0.4 mill and an increase of 0.35 mill for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of Township of Symmes for the purpose of general maintenance of streets, roads, and bridges and for the general maintenance of sidewalks, walkways, trails, bicycle pathways or similar improvements, that the county auditor estimates will collect $600,888 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.75 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $22 for each $100,000 of the county auditor s appraised value, for 7 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
