Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities Proposed Tax Levy Renewal
A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage.A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Ohio for the purpose of providing for the operation of community programs and services authorized by county boards of developmental disabilities, and for the acquisition, construction, financing, maintenance, and operation of developmental disabilities facilities, or for both such purposes, that the county autditor estimates will collect $2,976,112 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $23 for each $100,000 of the county auditor s appraised value, for five (5) years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
