A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage.An additional tax for the benefit of Thompson Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges that the county auditor estimates will collect $167,248 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor s appraised value, for 4 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.This tax levy will be presented at the LWV Geauga Candidate & Issue Forum at Chardon Middle School on September 30, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
