A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage.A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Burton Village for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads, and bridges that the county auditor estimates will collect $95, 154 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $76 for each $100,000 of the county auditor s appraised value, for 5 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.This tax levy will be presented at the LWV Geauga Candidate & Issue Forum at Cardinal Elementary School on September 29, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
