Newark City Treasurer

The City Treasurer is the elected official responsible for managing the city’s money. This includes collecting revenue, paying bills, keeping financial records, and investing city funds in accordance with state law. The Treasurer works with the mayor, city council, and other city officials to ensure the municipality’s finances are accurate, transparent, and well-managed.Source: Ohio Revised Code §§ 731.12, 733.17
