I am a strong supporter of public education and to making Sebring Local Schools a special and unique environment for aquiring a strong education that will prepare our students for college, trades or employment. We are unique in the fact that we are a small school district within a small community. In addition to a strong education, we provide our students as well as their families with the resources they need for mental health, wellness and financial support as we have many families in need within our school district. We want to continue to offer those services because it is difficult for students to focus on studies and learn if their needs at home are not being met.
I will continue to support the position of the community outreach coordinator and continue to support the hiring of strong staff. With the direction that funding in Ohio is going, the public schools are at risk and we must be proactive against these changes to support our schools.

1. Making sure our students receive the education they deserve in order to succeed.
2. Being a good steward of the money that the district receives and being accountable to the taxpayers.
I will work closely with the administration to determine best practices to engage our students in meaningful coursework. In addition, I will work with other board members and the treasurer to ensure we are spending wisely to make sure the students are safe and have the tools and technology they need to succeed.
