They enact local laws, establish policies and regulations, and ensure the provision of services for the health, safety, and welfare of residents. They approve the annual budget and ensure responsible allocation of funds. They address issues such as zoning, public safety, and community development. Council members work to improve the quality of life for residents, often through the development of parks, recreation facilities, and other community resources.

Occupation Retired
Education Graduate of Struthers High School (1982). Graduate (1986) Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy, Youngstown, OH. Youngstown State University Graduate (1987) Associate in Applied Science.
Public safety, the safety of our First Responders, and emphasis on community involvement.
Through counsel and our Mayor, provide support to our Fire Fighters & E.MS., Police Officers, and the Streets & Parks Departments through their training and/or procurement of their necessary equipment. The efforts put forth bearing in mind stewardship on behalf of our Village Tax Payers and what is in their best interest.

It is my goal for 2026 to once again hold Music In The Park and host Kids Day at Welker park. I also look forward to resuming National Night Out.

I walk the village most days (weather / health permitting) and I welcome & encourage Village Residents to present their needs & concerns should they have them; or, just to say hello.
