A 9-member board elected at large makes up the Metropolitan Water Reclamation DistrictBoard that is charged with protecting the quality of Lake Michigan water, treating waste water,and providing storm water management to protect businesses and homes from flood damageswithin the District. The District encompasses most of Cook County.
