My educational background gives me the experience and talent needed to serve in this position. Many professional development sessions have helped me gain the knowledge for sitting on the School Board. I have learned to communicate, collaborate and create a supportive relationship with all stakeholders. It is important to be able to attend to all of them. A positive exchange with Students, Families, Teachers, Administration, Community Members, Government Officials and Policy Makers is a key feature that will secure the School System's decisions and success. My experience as a board member for the last four years have provided me the hands-on familiarity for the operational process of the Buckeye School Board.
I want to run for my second term on the Buckeye School Board because I fully enjoy the governance experience while continuing to partner with other Board Members, Administrators, Staff and the Community. I want to continue to make competent decisions including trustworthy, fiscal judgments that can maintain the District's unwavering progress towards success. I want to support School administration with succession planning and if necessary, expand on the integral safety plans, keeping safety at the forefront for the entire District. This position gives me the chance to model consistency, collaboration and continuing education for my children as they start to enter the real world. I am also able to give back to my School and Community.

I am both a proud graduate of our district and a parent of two daughters who attended our schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. This gives me a unique perspective as someone who has experienced our schools firsthand as a student and as a parent. Over the past two terms on the school board, I have gained a deeper knowledge of district operations, policy, and budgeting, and I have worked collaboratively to make decisions that put students first. My lifelong connection to this community, combined with my proven leadership and commitment to our schools, qualifies me to continue serving and advocating for the success of all students.
I am seeking a third term on the school board to ensure continuity on critical initiatives, including advancing student achievement, supporting our educators and staff, and strengthening community trust in our district. With the knowledge and experience gained from my prior service, I am committed to providing steady leadership, mentoring new board members, and guiding our district as we work to achieve long-term goals.
