If elected, what will be your top priorities for Virginia?
What legislation will you support to increase the availability of affordable housing for both renters and homeowners?
What are your priorities to address the impact on Virginia of the dramatic changes to the Federal Budget and the decrease of Virginia's tax base due to the loss of Federal employment?
Please provide your rationale for supporting or opposing the Virginia Constitutional Amendment: Qualifications of voters, right to vote, persons not entitled to vote in the 2026 Session.
Do you support legislation allowing Virginia to adopt the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact?
(Would ensure that every Virginia vote for President is equal to those votes from every other state and DC, while also guaranteeing that the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide wins the Presidency.)

Thanks to the erratic policies of the Trump Administration, the cost of essentials like food, housing, and clothing keeps rising, while job losses leave families struggling. We must support Virginia families with job training and resources to get ahead. Every child deserves a strong public school education that prepares them for college or a good-paying job. All Virginians should have access to affordable, quality healthcare, including mental health, reproductive care, and fairly priced prescriptions. We also need safe communities where no one fears violence at home, work, school, or worship—by keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals.
I would support changing zoning laws to allow for denser housing – everyone does not need to
live in a huge home surrounded by acres of lawn such as allowing for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s) that are smaller homes on the property of the house. This flexibility not only adds to
housing stock but allows seniors or young adults to live independently, but near to others for help. It also creates an affordable option.
We need to incentivize developers to build affordable housing stock. We could offer credits and when the project is completed those credits can be used to build another affordable housing project.
I am interested in additional creative ideas to address this ongoing problem.
We need to help families that are struggling with job loss with a hand up, job training and retraining and a thorough database showing available jobs. The government should compile
such a database by talking to corporations and big businesses here but also including small businesses because they are a critical part of our economy.
I support this amendment. When a person has completed their punishment and is re-entering their, they should have the rights of that community, including the right to vote. To withhold that right is to condemn a person to a forever punishment. We expect folks to become contributing members of their community and they should have the accompanying rights.
