The greatest challenges I hope to manage if elected are balancing growth with preserving Hartwood’s rural character, ensuring our schools are strong enough to support both military and local families, and making sure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and transparently. Hartwood is at a crossroads we’re seeing increased development pressures, rising infrastructure needs, and schools that are under strain. My job will be to work with the community, not against it, to make sure growth happens responsibly, our schools and first responders have what they need, and that every decision made reflects the values of our residents.
I believe I am the best candidate for this position because I bring both visionary leadership and proven experience to the table. As an Air Force Chief Master Sergeant and seasoned government acquisition professional, I’ve spent over 25 years leading teams, managing complex budgets, and shaping policies that impact thousands of people. But beyond experience, I offer a vision for Hartwood’s future one that balances growth with preserving the rural character we all value, one that ensures strong schools for our families, and one that creates opportunities for local businesses to thrive. Leadership isn’t just about managing the present, it’s about preparing for the future.
What I like most about living in Hartwood is the sense of community and the balance we have between rural beauty and family-friendly living. We’re surrounded by open spaces, farms, and history, yet we’re also a place where neighbors know each other, look out for one another, and come together to solve problems. It’s that spirit of community rooted in tradition but hopeful for the future that makes Hartwood special, and it’s why I’m so committed to preserving what makes our district unique while planning responsibly for tomorrow.
