Term: 4 years, commencing 1/1/2024.Responsibilities: Set educational goals, establish policy, plan student services, establish budgets, set goals and long-range planning, create community relations programs and communicate with the public.Employ superintendent and treasurer to manage schools in accordance with school board policies. Decisions are made by the board as a whole at public meetings.

Experience I have worked for the U.S. Department of Education for over 18 years, working with hundreds of school districts and colleges and universities across Ohio and Michigan.
Volunteer/Community Service Both my sons went K-12 at Chagrin and during their time in the schools I volunteered in a variety of ways, from elementary through high school.
The current School Board has done exceptionally well in sustaining a culture of academic excellence that benefits all students and our entire community. Chagrin Falls Schools earned five-star ratings in all components of the 2024 Ohio School Report Card and ranked #3 in the state with a Performance Index of 111. Chagrin Falls Middle School was also named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. These results reflect high expectations, strong teaching, and thoughtful leadership. I will work to continue building on this strong foundation, helping Chagrin with its mission and vision, to provide an educational experience empowering students to maximize their potential and Inspiring All to Grow and Thrive.
