I feel our area is definitely being over taxed with out anything to show for it. We are causing families, and the elderly to chose between necessities and paying taxes.
We are losing a large portion of our young adults moving from the area due to lack of employment that can provide for them and a family. We need to promote trades and the possibility of growth in income through growing our community with these professional trades.
Carroll County needs buisnesses to come to our area, to take some of the stress off of our tax payers, providing jobs, and offering resources to the people of our county.
I am not a politician, I am a wife and mother. I balance our household finances. I understand what actually works and what we need as families, individuals, and the resources.
I feel I am easy to approach and talk to, not just at election time. I hope to have a town hall meeting with the people of my district, and work together with the community.
I love the people, they care about others, they will protect others, and most would give you the shirt off of their backs.
The clean air and scenery are just breathtaking. I love hearing people say how beautiful it is when they visit.
