An additional tax for the benefit of Milford Township for the purpose of providing ambulance service, emergency medical service, or both, that the county auditor estimates will collect $255,338 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.85 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $65 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.Explanation: If a majority vote for the levy then an additional 1.85 Mills for each $1 taxable value will be placed on Milford Township properties. This equals $65 for each $100,000 of the county auditor s appraised property value. The levy will apply for 5 years starting in 2025, with tax collection beginning in 2026.
